WAREHOUSE, DISTRIBUTION & INDUSTRIAL — TEXAS
Industrial & Warehouse Roofing Measured in Acres, Managed Like It Matters
Distribution centers, manufacturing plants, cold storage, and big-box warehouses across Texas — Texas Pro Roofer installs and services large-area roof systems that protect inventory, equipment, and uptime. Licensed, insured, and on call when a leak threatens a production line or a loaded rack.
Texas Runs on Warehouses
Big Roofs, High Stakes — What’s Underneath Is Worth Protecting
Texas has become one of the country’s biggest logistics hubs, and the roofs to match are enormous — hundreds of thousands of square feet over inventory, machinery, and people. On an industrial building, a roof problem isn’t cosmetic. A leak over a distribution rack ruins product. A leak over a production line stops it. Water on a warehouse floor is a slip hazard and an OSHA headache. Texas Pro Roofer approaches industrial roofing as an operations problem first: we protect what’s under the roof, keep your dock doors and traffic lanes clear, and schedule around shifts and shipping so the building keeps running.
We serve warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing and processing plants, cold storage, self-storage, and flex-industrial parks across Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and the corridors between. From a single leak repair to a full re-roof over an occupied facility, we scope it to your operation.
Systems for Industrial Roofs
Built for Scale, Sun, and Storms
Reflective TPO
The default for big Texas warehouse roofs — a bright, weldable single-ply that reflects brutal summer sun and takes real load off refrigeration and rooftop units. TPO ›
EPDM Rubber
Tough, flexible rubber membrane with a long track record over industrial buildings, easy to inspect and maintain across large areas. EPDM ›
Roof Coatings & Restoration
Spray-applied reflective coatings can renew acres of aging membrane, seal leaks, and defer a massive tear-off — often as a maintenance expense. Coatings ›
Metal & R-Panel
Standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal for steep-slope industrial and agricultural structures — decades of service and it sheds hail. Metal ›
Modified Bitumen & BUR
Multi-ply asphalt systems where puncture resistance and rooftop foot traffic around equipment demand a heavier-duty assembly.
Maintenance Programs
Scheduled inspections keep miles of seams tight and every drain clear — ponding is the number-one killer of a flat industrial roof. Maintenance ›
The Heat Math
On a Roof This Big, Reflectivity Is Real Money
Cooling a Texas warehouse or a cold-storage facility is expensive, and the roof is the biggest surface the sun ever touches on your building. Multiply a hot, dark membrane across hundreds of thousands of square feet and you’re paying to fight your own roof all summer. A reflective white TPO or a cool coating can drop rooftop surface temperatures dramatically, ease the strain on refrigeration and HVAC, and make the working floor more bearable. At industrial scale, small per-square-foot savings turn into serious annual numbers.
Storms & Claims at Scale
One Hailstorm, Hundreds of Thousands of Square Feet
North Texas hail and Gulf Coast wind hit industrial roofs hard, and the exposure over a large facility is enormous. Wind-rated, properly fastened systems and edge metal keep the membrane down when a hurricane-season front rolls through. After a storm we inspect the full roof, document damage for the adjuster, and help move a fair claim so a covered loss doesn’t hit your capital budget. See storm damage and insurance claims.
Industrial Roofing FAQ
What Facility Managers Ask Us
Can you re-roof without shutting down the warehouse?
Yes. We phase large-area work section by section and schedule around shifts, shipping windows, and dock traffic. We keep loading doors and lanes usable and protect what’s below. Most facilities keep operating throughout the project.
Do we have to replace acres of roof, or can it be coated?
Frequently it can be restored or coated. If the deck and insulation are dry and the membrane is sound, a reflective coating can add years of service across the whole roof for a fraction of a full tear-off — and it often qualifies as maintenance rather than a capital project.
There’s a leak over the production line right now. How fast can you respond?
Call our line at (866) 625-1977. A leak over inventory or equipment is a true emergency — we’ll get a crew moving to stop the intrusion and protect what’s below, then schedule the permanent repair. See emergency roof repair.
Why does ponding water matter so much on a flat industrial roof?
Standing water accelerates membrane breakdown, adds structural load, and finds every weak seam over time. On a roof this size, keeping drains and scuppers clear through a maintenance program is one of the cheapest ways to protect a very expensive asset.
